GARAM MASALA

Garam masala is a blend of ground spices used extensively in Indian cuisine. The spices for garam masala are usually toasted to bring out more flavor and aroma, and then ground. Garam masala will usually consist of Coriander, Cumin, Cardamom, Cloves, Black pepper, Cinnamon, Nutmeg. In variations on garam masala, ingredients may include turmeric, saffron, fennel seeds, ginger, garlic, mustard seeds, mace, star anise, tamarind, fenugreek, bay leaves and dried red chilles.

SAMBHAR POWDER

Sambar Powder is the most basic and important ingredient in making “Sambar”. This spiced powder is made with a blend of roasted coriander seeds, toor dal, chana dal, fenugreek seeds, mustard seeds and few more which adds to this unique taste and exemplifies the taste sambar.

Rasam Powder

Rasam Powder, an aromatic and spicy mixture of ground spices is added while preparing various types of south Indian style lentil soups (rasam).

Biriyani Masala

Biryani masala or biryani spice is used for making delicious biriyani. The recipe makes use of spices like cinnamon, cumin, cloves, fenugreek seeds, garam masala, ginger and green cardamom to add flavors to the rice.

SEASONINGS
